Can't type backslash in visual studio 2013

P: 1
Can't type "\" in Visual Studio 2013. It prints the Yen sign instead! My system locale is USA. I have Chinese keyboard installed and its presence is non-negotiable. I haven't experienced this problem with ANY other program. This problem is absolutely infuriating.

EDIT: I now found out that I can't even copy and paste it into the program without it converting!
