asp.net website is not running on passing URL online

Hello friends..
I have developed a dynamic website using C#.net in VS 2010 .For testing my website i uploaded my files on test server but after uploading all the files when I type the url in chrome/IE/MOZILLA then a default html page gets placed on the screen in place of my Websites's Default page.

My web project is running fine on my local-server and also on the local-server of server machine but online on passing url its not displaying anything inspite of default HTML page.

The test server i have purchased is loaded with windows server2008 , .net framework 3.5 and SQL server 2008 R2.

Nothing at all?
You should at least see an error?
Or is your page dynamically generated and there's no content because you're having a problem connecting to the database?

Check the server's windows event logs and see if there are any warnings or errors related to your application or ASP.NET or IIS.

There is no error visible and no information regarding any wrong database connection.

I had checked my connection number of times and its working fine when I run my web project by typing "localhost" in URL but it doesn't run when I type my site name in Url

If there is any error in my project then why its working fine on local server??

The problem I am facing is that ,when I type my SITE name in url, a html page takes the place on browser in place of my WEB project's default page.

Please tell me how i configure windows server 2008 so that it runs normally on typing site name remotely from anywhere.

I thought that you were deploying to another computer?

Did your problem just change?

Originally you said that nothing was appearing when you typed the URL into your browser....now you're saying that another webpage is being displayed.

What is the webpage that is being displayed?
