Scope in Oracle PL SQL development Versus .net web development

Hi,
I have equal experience of 5 yrs in C#.net web development as well as Oracle PL SQL developement(Database design and writing sps but not DBA track).I I was on leave for last one year due to accident and now .net has updated new things.
Now I have joined back "Oracle financial Services" these updates are affecting my profile as I havent worked new stuffs. I need to select single technology now either .net or Oracle Pl Sql programming.
Can any one suggest me which would be better future perspective?
As I am considering one major point in both that in .net we need to update ourself every day and in Oracle (as it is not DBA)there are less opportunities compare to .net.
If I am wrong, any help ASAP in this regards will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks & Regards,
Vandana
