javascript in scriptmanager doesnot work

Hi,

I have an ASP.net page with a repeater and other control. I wrote the following:

ScriptManager.RegisterClientScriptBlock(this, GetType(), "test", "confirm(\"Are you sure you want to proceed?\")", true);

and called it in code behind on repeater item command.
If the user clicks the rows on the repater then i have to
display a confirmation message.

On clicking the Button, i'm getting a confirmation message with OK and
Cancel.After clicking Cancel,return false is not working and the server side code is being called.

Thanks in advance
