How do you change the cache for downloaded files in IE

Many use a ram drive to speed up web surfing. However when you set the IE temp folder to the ram drive, all files you download are cached to the ramdrive. If you download a file larger than the ram drive it is corrupted. I would like to be able to change just the cache location for downloaded files

Thanks
