.net wesite using as400 db works on pc but not on server

I am developing a ,net website using data base on the as400 two ways through an odbc connection and a ms sql link server that uses an odbc connection. It all works fine on my development machine however when I deploy it to the webserver the application will not show any as400 data. The odbc drivers are on the server and no error is raised.
could you please suggest a solution or point me in the right direction for some assistance
Thanks
