.NET COM DLL only exposes Functions to VB6 - no Variables or Properties

I am using VB.NET in Visual Studio 2008. I have created a class that is COM-visible. I am able to create instances of the object in VB6 (using either early- or late-binding) and it works fine.

Problem: In VB6, only the class Functions are visible. I have public variables and properties but they are not visible. Neither Intellisense nor the Object Browser sees them.

I created a test project in VB.NET that references the class and everything is visible there - Functions, Properties, Variables, etc.

I have searched for a few hours on Google but can't seem to find an answer.

Anyone here have any ideas?
