reference to System.Data.SQLite.Dll could not be added please make sure that file is

Im using vs2008 and when im trying to Add reference from my project the following error is occuring
" reference to System.Data.SQLite.Dll could not be added please make sure that file is accessible and that it is valid assembly or com component"
Could anyone help me plzzz...

Make sure if your dll is not corrupted. Download the SQLITE3.DLL from http://www.sqlite.org/sqlitedll-3_7_0.zip

Also make sure that you have registered the DLL.

Use the regsvr32 tool to register it if it is a COM object or written using code that is not .NET


Use the Regasm tool if it is a .NET library.

Also, make sure that the DLL that you're using has public members that you can access.
