How to prevent data refresh

Hi All,

I am using a gridview control of asp. In that I have multiple rows of bound field which contains multiple checkboxes.

I can check any of those checkboxes and can save there status.

My problem is that when I check those checkboxes and click on save button, page_load is called and then my save event fires, because of that, the status of checkboxes is getting reset. Hence when I check the status of any checkbox at backend it always returns false.

Can anyone please tell me how can I retain the status of controls?

Please help.

Thanks for the help in advance.
