Hello All,
This is my very first posting on bytes!!
Here's my "challenge":
I have a winforms app (vb.net - 2008) that has a form with the webbrowser control (ie) on it. The page which I am building on the fly (by creating the html and setting the .documenttext) has a frame that sources content from the internet.
I am running this on a pc, which is NOT a part of the domain. I can browse the internet fine, when running internet explorer on the machine, (after completing the dialog box which asks for authentication)
I've been able to browse the webpage in my winforms app, but now, no longer get an authentication dialog.
What I'd like to do, is pass authentication from my app, to the proxy if possible. I don't know if the CredentialCache is the way to do it, or somehow embed the authentication in the header.
I am not running any code to generate HttpRequest instances, so thought that trying to set the authentication as part of the header wouldn't work.
Would love to hear some ideas.
Cheers,
Sean
