Why sessions cannot be used in basichttpbinding - WCF

Sessions cannot be used in basichttpbinding, can anyone please tell me the reason for the same

BasicHttpBinding does not support WCF session, because each message over HTTP reaches the services over a new connection. So you need to use either non-Http bindings (TCP, IPC) or wsHttpBinding, which uses a a logical session Id in Message Header to achieve the Sessionful behaviour
