WSDL for hierarchical structure?

I have a document like this that I want to return from a web service

<catalog year="2003" kind="things">
<entry>
<child1>...</child1>
<child2>...</child2>
<list>
<grandchild name="..."/>
<grandchild name="..."/>
...
</list>
</entry>
<entry>
...
</entry>
...
</catalog>

What I'd like to do is this: Create a WSDL description of this structure
that allows clients to generate code for interfacing with the service
and binding elements to objects. I'm not at all sure that it is
possible.
