unable to delete the file in FTP

190 100+
Hi,

i have issue in FTP , i have tried with .net and also c#

Note the following scenario:

1. Upload the file to FTP >than 60 MB.

2. At the time of Uploading, unplug the LAN cable (or) In system tray Right click on Local Area connection and select "Disable".

3. Now, LAN connection will be not available.

4. Again connect the LAN Connection. Go to the FTP location and try to delete the File. (Note: Unable to delete the file).

5. Or else again try to upload the same file (without renaming/any modifications). (Note: Unable to upload the File)

How to delete that file or Upload the same file in the same location?

Kindly provide any solution for this Issue.

I'm not sure this has anything to do with C# or .NET. What you are saying is that if the upload is interupted your FTP server won't release the file to be deleted.

Do you get the same problem from the FTP server if you interupt an upload using a program you didn't build? If you FTP through WIndows Explorer for example.

I already asked

But the poster decided to not answer my questions so I figure I can't help him, or he doesn't really want my help.
