GridView DataSource List(IList) or DataTable. Which is better?

Hi,

I have worked in various projects. In some projects GridView binding is done by DataTable and in other by IList(List<ClassName>).

Most client projects they have followed this IList<> and internal projects ofcourse DataTable.

I want to know which is better and why?

I think IList is definitely faster (in performance) than DataTable. Here is an article with Pros and Cons... Hope that helps !
