Redistributable Package (x64)

Ole
Hi everybody,

I have the problem that I would like to install the MS Visual C++
Redistributabe Package (x64).

It installs to the root of the highest available drive, in my case E:. When
I delete E: in the Computer Administration, it installs to C:\, does not try
to use the DVD.

Shouldn't install that to a system directory like System32 or SYSWOW64?

There is also an application that has problems that could be related to that
behavior. But until I know that the installation is correct, I cannot tell
where the problem is.

Does anybody have an idea?

Thanks for your time

Ole
