error in a converted code from 1.1 to 2.0

Hi,

I am doing a migrating from 1.1 to 2.0 , got an error while bulding the project


Error 1:
It is an error to use a section registered as allowDefinition='MachineToApplication' beyond application level. This error can be caused by a virtual directory not being configured as an application in IIS. :
]C:\Documents and Settings\sa69454\Desktop\DiagnosticCenter_del\test webservice\Web.config

Pls suggest me a solution for this

This error can be caused by a virtual directory not being configured as an application in IIS. If you believe that IIS is set up correctly, try clicking on the configuration button and then try again.

If you did configure your directory to be an application, you might have forgotten to set the right asp.net version. Right-click your folder (which is set as application) in IIS and go to properties -> ASP.net. ASP.net version should be set to 2.x (see screenshot)
