Read CHM data into a .Net Control

I have many chm files that hold lots of help text.

I can get the help displaying properly using a TopicID.

I want to be able to read the data, using the said TopicID, from the CHM file and load it into a RichTextBox?

Any help would be a great help, no pun intended.

Kind Regards
Scott

I'm not sure if you can load it into a TextBox...
Look into using the HelpProvider class to display the CHM file.

I'm going to try loading it into TextBox...if you figure it out before I get back to you let me know what you find.

Sadly I don't think that loading CHM files into .NET controls will work.

They are complex (containing many compressed files that are highly indexed) and so they require some sort of reader that can properly interpret the data it contains. You could consider writing your own control to do this but I feel that will take a long time and be a complicated process.
