how to access the radio button value into the sql server database??

i have two radio buttons in my form named cash and check..
how do i code in the part of inserting into the database its checked value whether its cash or check??
please help..thanks..

Do you plan on inserting the value as a string or a bool?

This is a bit vague...do you already have a defined database, or are you still designing it? Are these the only possible choices, or can there be more?

If there will never be another choice, it would make sense to make it a boolean field. Otherwise, I would make another table of payment types and make a relationship.
