VB.net application and MS access dabase in network

Hi!
I've already developed a VB.net application with ms access as backend locally i.e. not in a network. But as per the requirement I have different user login options for this desktop application. This means the application is standalone and only one user can use at a time.

But i want people to use it from different PCs. Is it advisable to put the access file in a server and ask the client applications to use a single access file? what will happen to the performance?

If yes, what kind of server should i use? simple network sharing or dedicated server? if dedicated server, what are servers available so that i can use?

thanks for your expertise.

I would place the app on a W3K+ with IIS6+. If your app becomes popular, and why wouldn't it, then you have a scalable solution. HTH.
