mscorwks.dll could not be loaded

Hi,
I have installed WSS 3.0.When i am trying to open it,I am getting the following error . error 2908:An internal error has occured .{E6FF3406-27CC-411E-8F1D-C027824D069F}.
When i am trying to uninstall WSS .i am getting the error :C:\windows\Microsoft.Net\Framework\v2.0.50727\msc orwks.dll could not be loaded.
If i try to uninstall .NET Framework ,i am getting the error that it is being used by another programs .So i am not able to uninstall it.
Can any suggest solution for it.
Thanks,
