Incorrect Log on parameters with crystal .net

I have a .net 2005 VB program that connects to a sql server 2005 database (mixed authentication) and uses crystal reports to display reports using stored procedures. I am setting the log on information in my application. the reports print correctly on 3 computers running windows xp pro, one visti, one is 2000. Two machines do not print (both windows 2000). My application can access the datbase fine, but crystal generates the "incorrect log on parameters" error.
any suggestions?

Thanks,
Joyce
