Probably Simple Roles Issue

Hello,

I have an issue with the CreateUserWizard Control. I am trying to
once the user is successfully created add them to a default role. So
crazy me to think that I would leverage the createdUser event and then
Roles.addUser....

well it ran user was added to the database but no role has been added
for the user. There is also no errors or nothing in the logs that say
it failed.

Any Ideas??

Yes, crazy you :-) working bass ackwards. You should learn and use the
LoginView control to manage what content the user can or cannot access on
the page or the Membership class to keep them out of the page itself. There
are a couple of 3rd party Membership controls, documents and blogs about
developing our own including commentary from Microsoft and of course the
Website Administration Tool.
