Uploading BLOB to SQL server 2005

I have a SQL database at 1&1 hosting and i try to upload some MP3 files to
the database
from a .NET webform. (I use .net 2.0)

In my database I have a image type field to store the binary data.
It works well to upload a file around 3MB but when i try to upload a 7MB
file i just
got an html error "page could not be shown".

I use this code in the button click upload event:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dim byteContent() As Byte
Dim iLenght As Integer = FileUpload1.PostedFile.ContentLength - 1
ReDim byteContent(iLenght)
FileUpload1.PostedFile.InputStream.Read(byteConten t, 0, iLenght)
------------------------------------------------------------------------
The bytecontent is the stored in the database from a sql parameter.

I read that an image field can hold up to 2GB so the error must be another
thing.

Any suggestions?

regards
