ASP.NET: Designing Administrator Registration Page

87
Hi,

I have to ask one question because i am new in developing project using ASP.NETCurrently I am doing project in ASP.NET. I have designed pages for the client side that is the users who are accessing the site which i have developed now.

I have developed admin registration page and client registration page seperately and they both have different inputs in their registration form.

Is it right or wrong?

If i have two or three admins for my site, then whether i have to develop the seperate registration page for the administrator? If so, how the admin home page and registration page will be seperated from the client side pages?

Please help me because i don't know this concept.

Thanks in advance...

Sounds like a good case for the use of asp.net Membership. All the information you need on Membership and any other .NET controls can be found in the MSDN Library.

Hi,

I don't need that article.

Whether there will be one administrator or more than one admin for a particular website?

If there are more than one, then how can i register these admins for my website? For this only i have designed seperate admin registration and homepage similar to user registration and home page but with different input fields in their registration forms.

In college they are asking me why you have kept seperate registration page for admin and whether he has to register in your website to maintain and monitor the site? For this question, i said that there can be more than one admins for managing the site, so only i created seperete registration page for admin.

Is it right or wrong?

If it is wrong, please tell me the reason and if it is right how client and server pages get seperated for a website?

Please help me....
