It is funy qouestion but I need to know.

How can I cut long if statement into multiline statement? I can remember using &_ but it is an error now.

EXP:
If txtLastNameSec.Text <> "" Or cboGenderSec.Text <> "" Or txtDateOfBirthSec.Text <> "" Or cboEducationSec.Text <> "" Or cboRelationSec.Text <> "" Or cboResideSec.Text <> "" Or cboCustodySec.Text <> "" Or cboGroupSec.Text <> "" Or cboISClientSec.Text <> "" Or CboWorkerSec.Text <> "" Then

I need to have

If txtLastNameSec.Text <> "" Or cboGenderSec.Text <> "" Or
txtDateOfBirthSec.Text <> "" Or cboEducationSec.Text <> "" Or
cboRelationSec.Text <> "" Or cboResideSec.Text <> "" Or cboCustodySec.Text <> "" Or cboGroupSec.Text <> "" Or cboISClientSec.Text
<> "" Or CboWorkerSec.Text <> "" Then
I mean I don’t want to see whole if statement in one row.
Thanks,

I think that you can use the _ (underscore) to tell the compiler that you are continuing the line. Put it at the end of each line.
