how can iuse DataBinder.Eval() in label control

Hi experts Any one please help me.How can i display the database value in label text by using DataBinder.Eval().

You can only use the Eval methods in controls like repeaters and datalists.

Insert's correct,
Because a Label is not a repeater type control, the DataBinder.Eval method won't work.

This article on the DataBinder.Eval Method is a great place to start learning about this method.

If you do end up changing your control to be a repeater, be aware that the Eval Method takes a string parameter that is used as the expression. This parameter interprets special characters such as () or ; so make sure that you are careful in providing a properly formatted string as this parameter.
