help with pc

my computer will shut down and startup perfectly.....but if i unplug it it
wont come back on for 3-8 hours three times when it started up after 3-8
hours it said "firmware has detected a CMOS battery failure......firmware has
detected a CMOS checksum error.....firmware has detected that the time and
date have not been set"

This is a programme's group so not the best place to seek help.
However, the error message you see is probably correct, you need to
replace your CMOS battery.

i dont know how it got here but i already replaced it still does it

Try resetting your CMOS to defaults, then see if the error message goes
away. If that doesn't help, either find a forum on general PC
troubleshooting or take your computer to a competent local repair shop. As
you were told previously, this group is for .NET programming topics.

The closest thing in the Microsoft public groups would be an appropriate
Windows group, which you can find by following these instructions:

Click the + beside your language. then scroll down to Windows. In Windows,
open the category for your version of Windows, then find a group there to
post in.

You have a hardware problem. If replacing the battery didn't solve the
issue (try a different battery -- again), you may have a problem with the
actual BIOS ROM(RAM). If so, the only practical solution is a new
motherboard. Just, IMO.
