Structue Binding OR Simple Arrray Binding - Combobox

48
Hi all,

Could anyone tell me what's the advantage of binding a structure to a combobox over a simple array considering that a structure contains a parameterized constructor(of course) & then some public properties to retrieve the data required for "ValueMember" & "DisplayMember" properties of a combobox.

Any suggestions will be highly appreciated.

Thanks,
Aads

Structures would be good if they other information you want that is associated with the selection.
Sometimes people will bind a DataTable to a ComboBox, and only have it display one column, but they will want all the information associated with the selected entries Row.
If all you care about is the displayed value, using an array should suffice.
