I have had a home network with xp for many years. Itried to add a vista
laptop to this network, Ok the vista laptop cansee and access files and the
printer (which is connected to the desktp) on the xp laptop and deskptop but
the both xp machines can neither see or access the vista laptop.
Can anyone help me please I need to see and access the vista from the xp

Try a networking newsgroup. This newsgroup is for Microsoft ".NET"
programming questions.

It's no help to you to know that you've posted your question to the wrong
newsgroup?

You can't surmise from my comment that you should post in a more appropriate
place?

This doesn't help you understand that if you were to post in an appropriate
place, that is related to the question you are asking, you may get an answer
to your question?

If you can't understand that then I don't think you should be attempting to
network computers together.
