PDF restrictions

164 100+
Hi
I searched through the forum but couldnt find solutions for my problem

I created a website to display pdf files. With IE itself i have given a link to display the pdf within the browser.

But I want to restrict/prevent the users to save/print etc.,

how can I make it to provide those restritions to the user.

Thanks

When you put content on the web you make it public. When its public it is public, anyone can access it.

So the only solution is to not have it directly on the web, harder for users to get access to so thats not so good if you want ppl to read it.

Maybe you can edit the pdf to chnage thse restrictions, but users can always go arund that by using different software.

If you are concerned about people taking a copy of your pdf then you could watermark it in some way or reduce the resolution so as to make it only useful for a preview.
