Error in ASP.NET Vs Sql server

An error has occurred while establishing a connection to the server. When connecting to SQL Server 2005, this failure may be caused by the fact that under the default settings SQL Server does not allow remote connections. (provider: Named Pipes Provider, error: 40 - Could not open a connection to SQL Server)

i am having this error while accessing webapp from my webserver. can anyone help me?

First of all check that your database allows for remote connections.

Then check that your connection string is correct.

Check also that your sql user connecting to the database has the appropriate rites to connect to the database.

Also check that there are no firewalls etc. blocking the connection.

I checked all the above things.. its working in my local system. i got error while accessing through webserver which is placed in another system.
