Making setup package

Hai,

I am with a InventoryManagement C# windows application, how can I make a setup package for my application which prompts a serial number while installing the setup and also how can I add my Icon to to the setup

Hello

To create setup select project of type Setup & Deployment project

there you will be having different panes you can add or delete files and icon by mouse click .To add icon select file to which icon to be added and from properties you will find icon property which is used to add the required icon for that file .

if you want to ask serial number while installation ,there are some third party softwares which can solve that issue.

you have to add .netframe work in your setup just by selecting from pre requisites option and any other required dlls also to be added .

finally compile the application you will find the setup file in Bin folder of your setup & deployment application .
