Virtual Server 2005 R2 SP1 on Vista Ultimate SP1 Problems.

Hi all, I

I tried to find the group for Virtual Server but failed, so I have placed
this in general.

My problem.

During the installation of Virtual Server 2005 R2 SP1 The installer stops
with an error from vista saying 'search for solution online' or cancel. I
select search for solution online and it says after a short while, install
complete.

I do not get the screen as detailed in the instructions about
authenitication methods !!!

Ok, so I have installed the product, then when I go to the administration
website I am prompted for an ID and password. ??? I have tried several but
none work and eventually I get a error 401.2 Unathorized error. Error Code
0x8007005.

I have tried installing KB948515 to fix the install and make it compatible
but that repeats the same error as above during the install.

I'm not sure where I am going wrong. Any help appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Yes, but you found the .NET programming general group. You need to find a
Windows Vista group for your question. You'll have much better luck.

As you appear to be using a web interface, start here to find an appropriate
group:

http://www.microsoft.com/communities...s/default.aspx

Click the + beside your language. then scroll down to Windows. In Windows,
open the Windows Vista category, then find a group there to
post in.
