WCF + Services calling another service in the same process

Hello.

I'm currently implementing a WCF service.
The service is based on a simple winservice with multiple objects
hosting multiple services on the same port (different URLs). all the
services are in the same structure (but with different data).

for instance

Service1 - http://localhost/Server/S1
Service2 - http://localhost/Server/S2

Usually, a client calls a method and a response is returned. no
problem here.

Today I came upon a situation where one service had to use another
service hosted by the same process.
(for instance, Service1 needs to call a method on Service2).

Now, I know I can access Service2 just be accessing the object itself
but I wanted to see if WCF can handle this. So, I've set up a system
where:

Client -Service1 -Service2

The test was calling a simple method that should return a string
(nothing special). The request arrived at Service2 but after the
"return S;" the system got stuck and eventualy a timed out with no
special exception thrown.

I'm using HTTP binding and already went though all the Authentication
issues.

Dose anyone have an Idea why this happen ? if Service2 is on a
different computer then everything works fine.

Gilad.
