I want to uninstall CE 4.0 Emulator Drivers

I installed this by mistake. I removed a couple of programs that were part
of the load but I keep getting the error message "Virtual PC/Windows CE
Emulator" will cause XP to become unstable so the drivers are disabled. I
thought I found the drivers in the hardward list and uninstalled them but I
still get the message. There is some info in Help and Support but it is a
fix to allow this program to run. I don't want to run it, I want to make
sure I've uninstalled and removed everything about it, including the drivers.

Thanks,

-Paul Hager

A general search of the we revealed there is apparently a file,
"VPCAppSv.sys" that is used - this needs to be removed and the registry
cleaned. I'd like something official from Microsoft rather than a couple of
postings with broken links. Failing that, a brief set of instructions on
what I have to do to get rid of everything.

Thanks...

Wrong newsgroup. This group is for writing Visual C++ programs that target
the.NET framework.

An XP, CE or Virtual PC group, I would imagine. These are the things mentioned
in your message.

Since the CE emulator might have gotten installed with Visual Studio, also
try

microsoft.public.vstudio.general
or
microsoft.public.vstudio.setup (don't know if this is VS installation issues
or the VS wizards for building setup projects for your own software)
