New profile created on every log in

Every time I boot up my laptop, which is running Windows XP Home Edition,
after a shut down, a new profile is created. How do I stop this and have the
system use just one?

First, you try posting your question to a newsgroup with "Windows" in the
description. This is a .Net programming newsgroup.
