Timeout expired

Hey I really need help.

I have a Website coded using ASP.NET and VB and for some reason, i'm getting the following error when I try to upload or access a large file which is stored in the database. It was working fine when I was runing the site on the localhost. I added the following line to the web.config file to increase the timeout:

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. <httpRuntime
  2. maxRequestLength="1048576"
  3. executionTimeout="3600"/>
I also added:
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. connection timeout = 60
in the Sql Connection string but still nothing

Here is the error:

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. Server Error in '/' Application.
  2. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  3.
  4. Timeout expired.  The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding.

The timeout in the connectionstring ONLY dictates the timeout for trying to connect to the server.
I am unsure where the query timeout is kept. Possibly only in the management of the SQL server somewhere.
