passing xml to xslt

hello,

I'm wondering about passing in an xml file to an xslt document, i need need to querry the document for values.

File1.xml
<root>
<address>
...data....
</address>
</root>

File2.xml
<root>
<client>
...data....
</client>
</root>

so those are the two xml documents, and lets say i am doing an xslt transform to combine the data of client with certain pieces of address. so it will end up like...

<root>
<client>
<address>...data....</address>
...more data....
</client>
</root>

i need to do this through xslt, and passing in file2 as a parameter. So my question is how do i accress the data in file2? how can i perform an XPath query on it to do like a /root/address.

Thanks.
