how do I autofill a web form on someone elses web page

P: 3
Can I use visual basic.net to access the DOM in a web page so that I can autofill the text boxes? If so, can you point me in the right direction as to where to begin?

I need to fill in a lengthy form on a web page. The report takes about an hour + because I am going back and forth cutting and pasting the data, text box by text box.

I have the data in an access database on my machine. How can I use visual basic.net to autofill the text boxes from the database.

The solution would save me a ton of time as I complete these reports regularly, via the Web, and would like to automate the process.

I have IE7, Safari, and Firefox available to me.

Thanks,

Brian

See this How To document on how to use ADO.NET in your application. http://www.thescripts.com/forum/thread635615.htmlYou will need a query that returns the data that you need from the database. You will then loop through the datarows (if there will be more than 1 row) and set the textbox.Text = to the row column data that you want.
