session state as state server not working

Hi Everyone Whenever i am using stateserver=localhost:42424 it is working
but when i give computer name it s not working .
what is the problem

Are you providing proper login credentials for your sql server?
Have you set up your SQL server to use namedpipes and other allowances for non-localhost use (most default installs of SQL server have it disabled for anything other than localhost access)
