Authenticating user tokens for web services consumotion

Hello Friends,
Can anyone let me know how to validate the user details in a token fundamentally which has to be persesitent and is used for making calls to web services? Its very urgent. I have a very meagre knowledge of that. Iam searching since hours to find some information about this. Any information with WSE3.0 is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
