High performance multi-threaded server

P: 1
Hi, I'm writing a high performance tcp/ip server using IOCP. Recently I found XF.Server component at http://www.kodart.com

They claim that it is the fastest server implementation. Is it possible? Can I write using pure C++ a better server?

According to my the performance results I got their server works about 2-2.5 times faster then mine. I don't understand why.

How many requests can tcp/ip server handle per second? And how many connections?

Who wrote high performance server that works really fast? or faster than xf server?

Please provide me with some guidelines
Thanks
