I had originally posted this on the VB forum. I have since resolved the issue, but I am still wondering why it was an issue in the first place. Thanks.
I created a program on VB Express 2005 on a 64 bit operating system. It connects to a an access database, fills a dataset, makes changes and updates the database. The program worked fine. I recently got Visual Studio Professional 2008. When I made a changes to some calculations in this program I did it in 2008. I could run the program without issue in debug mode, but the program would not work when published. I was receiving an error when the dataset was filling.
To resolve the problem, I re-published the code in Express 2005 again. Why did it do this? Thanks.
