Alternate Sollution for Master Pages..?

Hai All,

I want alternate sollution for masterpage, i.e, I don't want to refresh my page every time....? Im using asp.net2.0 version. Any alternate sollution plz............

Masterpages replace frames and the need for iFrames, so they could be alternatives. Although I think you will find that each alternative involves a postback. Problems with postbacks can be coded and I believe that masterpages are usually a better solution.. HTH.

Hi,

Thanks for replay,

i want to reduce the postbacks in my application, im using sitemaps, treeviews.
If i navigate to other record in samepage also it is refreshing..? Any sollution to reduce postbacks...

You may use not page.ispostback to control which code does not run during a postback, this is most useful in the page load event to stop the code running over again. If you want no postbacks, you will need to run these controls through Ajax. HTH.
