MultiLine TexBox and return characters

I have a multiline textBox that saves the data as a string.

Question I have... is there any way to add a return character "\r\n" to the string whenever the textBox word wraps a line?

So if I inputed:

The dog runs in the park and chases the ball [END OF BOX]
around the grass.

That when I view the string it would append a return character after "ball" to singnal the word wrap.
