Intellisense not showing values

Rof
Does anyone know why, in the VS 2005 IDE, Intellisense (if that's the
right name) does not show the value of a variable when I hover over
it, about 30-40% of the time, and I have to type it into the Immediate
Window? This is incredibly frustrating - yet another example of what
would be a good MS idea, if only it worked properly.

You probably give the fault to Stanley when you are hitting your fingers
with a hammer.
