How to read smart card using vb.net

Hai,

i have a smart card from safenet 330 model can any plz tell me how to read data from the smart card. as i am new to this smart card plz give me some guidelines if possible sample code

k thank u for reply can any one siggest how to approach for my requirement i.e if i am explain i am sorry i have a web application my users need to authenticate through smart card which are provided to them withe signature in built to them here how can i know wheteher the user is connected, verify the the signature plzz help
