treeview.findnode returns null reference.

Hi!

the treeview is built using DB. findnode is used to maintain the state of the selected node.

Dim propertytn As New TreeNode

Debug.WriteLine(Session("propertynode"))-->has value path eg. 115/118
propertytn = Me.tvProperty.FindNode(CStr(Session("propertynode" )))-->nothing

If Not propertytn Is Nothing Then
propertytn.Selected = True

End If

the above code works fine if i am in same page but it returns nothing when i try to navigate and maintain state of the selected node.

please help
