How to Detect WebCam of Client Machine in Asp.net Web Application

Hi Friends...

please do me some favour and give me idea for How to detect the WEbCam of client machine..

I want only status that whether client machine have attached the webcam or not..

Please any idea and views will invited...

There is a COM aomponent available for this (Microsoft Windows Image Acquisition). Add reference to that dll and search for events in that COM which fires when device found.

I think but it is window application and i need to do it in web application...
How to do this at web application..??
Do you have any referance article for describing Microsoft Windows Image Acquisition 's Event..??

I am using Windows 2003 and i am getting this error when i am initilize the class object of DeviceManger that

"Creating an instance of the COM component with CLSID {E1C5D730-7E97-4D8A-9E42-BBAE87C2059F} from the IClassFactory failed due to the following error: 80070422."

Please if any help from your side!
