Getting the Name property of a menuitem in Windows app using C#

Hi, I am doing a Windows application in VS 2003 in which i have a form with a Main menu with many menu items. I am attempting to enable/disable few menuitems upon form load for individual users based on data stored in DB.

For this i am required to access the name of the individual menuitems upon form load and check the name with data in DB.

Can anyone help me out with this issue? Thanks in advance.

You can cycle through the menu object's controls (all your menu items should exist somewhere under there, you might need a function that handles recursively looking through children's children controls) and comapre them with the database entries?
